@thebasementeast Can I buy you guys a sign that reads "NO COLOREDs ALLOWED" to go with the "WE DON'T SELL HENNESSY!" sign that you already have?? Hey NASHVILLE, if you've got LOVE for Starlito, don't patronize this establishment. I grew up walking distance from here, and just wanted to bring my lil tour to my side of town. Though they weren't quite as overt as @fitzgeraldslive with the prejudice & bigotry, THIS HAS TO STOP!! @iamblackrob was just on our local news with a similar issue with @mmusicworks.. Newsflash to all the supposedly reputable establishments in nightlife, entertainment & showbiz: BLACK DOES NOT EQUAL TROUBLESOME!! I'm wholesome & safe enough to go in to your schools & encourage your children, even help send a few to college. But, if I stand on and a stage with a microphone to collect the funds at the end of the night, I'm the anti-Christ. SOLD OUT @12thandporter INCIDENT FREE. Played @mercylounge INCIDENT FREE.. Not to mention the other 39 cities & venues that are welcoming & paying us for this same show. smh.. HOME SWEET HOME 💔 @thebasementeast Donald Trump can't save y'all 🖕🏾 Maybe I'm too black to play the race card. I digress. STEPBROTHERS THREE March 15th cc: @exit_in #GrindHard

Local Nashville venue Basement East, has decided not to let Starlito host his #KarateInTheGarageTOUR performance for a reason that is all too familiar for hip-hop fans in Nashville. Allegedly the venue does not want to play host to "his kind" because of their own prejudice reasons. Above you can read Starlito's open letter/post towards Basement East and other local venues. Hopefully another venue in Nashville will welcome Lito's tour and hopefully this is the last time we hear of an incident with hip-hop performances in the city.
