Jeezy recently spoke with MTV about “Seen It All,” the Jay Z-assisted title track from his upcoming fifth studio album. The CTE founder gave the record some added context by detailing a conversation he and the Brooklyn rapper had after his guest verse was completed.

“He was like, ‘Yo Jeezy, when I was writing that verse, I had tears in my eye,’” recalled Jeezy. It’s difficult to imagine Jay’s usually calm, cool, and collected demeanor rattled in any way. But then again, his verse delves into a time in his life that preceded his fame — an era where his funds came from doing dirt rather than spitting verses.

That said, you may shed a thug tear too.
