Nashville Businesses Owned By Minorities, Women Not Likely To Win Contracts

According to a new study by Atlanta-based consultants Griffin & Strong, minorities and women owned businesses are WAY less likely to receive metro contracts! How bad is it? Check out the stats below:

-Metro prime contracts reviewed by this study were worth a total of $3 billion and only 17% went to women and minority owned businesses.

-Only 3.49% went to African American owned firms.
