Research shows that 43.8 million adults experience mental illness per year. Additionally it has been reported that half of all chronic mental illness begins by age 14. Despite effective treatment options available, there are long delays, sometimes decades, between the first appearance of symptoms and when people actually get help. This is largely due impart to a lack of knowledge of available resources and treatment options. Our RBW health symposium will focus on three core areas: awareness, empowerment, and hope.
