NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —It's not yet Fall but does something have you feeling like decking the halls?
Well, that feeling to decorate for Christmas just a wee-bit early might scientifically make you happier.
Unilad and the Today show both confirmed with experts that putting up Christmas lights earlier means more happiness for you.
Psychologist Deborah Serani noted several factors of why this happens to the Today show.
Decorating early creates a "neurological shift" as well as spiking "dopamine, a feel-good hormone." Bright lights, colors and nostalgia also play a factor, Serni said.
