College students test COVID-19 positive after Spring Break in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —Multiple college students have tested COVID-19 positive after a Spring Break trip to Nashville and Gulf Shores.

University of Wisconsin-Madison said a cluster of novel coronavirus cases have been associated with a spring break trip organized by seniors. The trip started in Nashville on March 13 and moved to Gulf Shores, Alabama around March 16.

UW-Madison said some students returned home by March 20 - but multiple students who went on the trip have tested positive for COVID-19. There are also :many others" who are reporting similar symptoms like fatigue, cough, fever, nausea, and shortness of breath, sore throat runny nose, nausea, or headache.

The school says infections have been mild so far.
