Houston Rockets star Russell Westbrook is helping in the fight to provide protection for medical workers serving African American communities. Westbrook is teaming up with Operation 42. The organization inspired by the celebration of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball is working to assist in getting items to the frontline medical personnel. The goal is to donate 4.2 million masks and personal protection equipment in predominantly African-American communities hit hard by COVID-19.
