Roger Goodell Supports Team Signing Kaepernick

During an interview on ESPN, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said he "supports" and "encourages" a team to sign former 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick. Goodell even went as far as to say that he would like to see Kaep help out the NFL off the field as well as a voice on social issues that have become an issue in the country. "If his efforts are not on the field but continuing to work in this space, we welcome him to that table to help us, guide us, help us make better decisions about the kind of things that need to be done in the communities," said Goodell during the interview. Earlier in the month, Goodell did a video where he admitted the NFL got it wrong by not listening to players that chose to protest earlier ad has committed $250 million over 10 years to fight systemic racism.
