WASHINGTON (WZTV) —White House coronavirus task force coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx says Tennessee's COVID-19 numbers have fallen from the red zone into the yellow.
Birx said while the state data is getting better, the situation in Tennessee is still "concerning."
Birx announced the transition on a private call obtained by The Center for Public Integrity.
The different zones are reportedly based on the percentage of positive tests in the last week.
