Nashville Black Lives Matter mural damaged, organizers say

The organizers of the Black Lives Matter mural in East Nashville believe someone intentionally vandalized the street painting less than 24 hours after its completion.

The mural is located along Woodland Street and Interstate Drive.

The Metro Arts Board of Commissioners approved the mural as long as it's privately funded, and a group of artists started working on it Saturday.

Hours later, it appears someone drove over it, leaving skid marks.
