NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The student phase-in process has been paused at Metro Nashville Public Schools.
Due to the increased spread of the coronavirus, MNPS is delaying the return to in-person learning for students in grades 5, 6, 7 and 8. Grades 5 and 6 were to return to classes today.
Third and 4th graders returned to the classroom on Oct. 20. Grades 7 and 8 were to return on Nov. 4.
Grades 9-12 aren't scheduled to go back until the start of the second semester, Jan. 7.
K-4th remains in school.
