The former Minnesota police officer who fatally shot Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black man, during a traffic stop will be charged with second-degree manslaughter, a prosecutor said Wednesday. Potter resigned Tuesday as well as the city's former police chief, who said Potter accidentally grabbed her firearm when she thought she was tasing Wright.
