Target, Walmart, Costco, Publix, more drop mask requirements in stores

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —Target is the latest big retailer to join other major businesses in dropping its face covering requirement for fully vaccinated people following new guidelines released by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) last week.

Target made the move on Monday, joining Walmart, Costco, Trader Joe's, Sams Club, Publix and a growing list of companies changing their policies.

Last week, the CDC updated guidance for fully vaccinated people, allowing them to stop wearing masks outdoors in crowds and in most indoor settings.

Nashville lifted its mask mandate and all capacity restrictions on Friday.

Do you still plan to wear your mask regardless of requirements?
