Kanye West’s Objection To Divorce Is Odd To Say The Least

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian head to court on Wednesday as Kim will be attempting to declare herself legally single.  Kanye’s lawyers have filed documents “arguing that all prenuptial agreements signed in California after 2002 are presumed to be invalid” however Kanye has NEVER claimed that their prenup is invalid. Under California law, a prenup is only considered invalid IF one of the parties challenges it, and neither party has, so it is not clear why his lawyers have filed the documents. If the judge favors that the prenup is invalid that would make any money made during the marriage open for a more even split, and it’s believed that Kim would benefit from that. Kim has said, “I believe that the court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children.”
