Jury selection for R. Kelly’s Chicago trial starts on Monday (August 15). Kelly is accused of creating and receiving child pornography, luring kids into illegal sexual behavior, and obstructing justice. The obstructing justice charge stems from a 2008 child pornography case where Kelly was acquitted. Federal prosecutors say Kelly and his cronies threatened and bribed witnesses in a previous trial. Kelly was convicted and sentenced to 30 years in his New York case.
