In the wake of Colin Kaepernick's protests, the renowned producer admitted he was worried about looking like a Super Bowl sellout. Dre says it was Nas who was able to convince him in ten minutes, the SB performance would be monumental for the culture. The halftime show, which featured Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Snoop Dogg, was nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards.
