James Shaw And The Survivors From The Waffle House Incident Honored

The owner of Tootsie's is upset about decision to try and remove Kid Rock as Grand Marshal of Christmas Parade, and says that Kid Rock will still be in the parade.

Tomorrow is the Nashville Christmas Parade and less than 24 hours before the parade begins there has been some falling out.

Earlier today, Kid Rock was on Fox and Friends and made a remake towards Joy Behar that caused a falling out where the Mayor of Nashville had “inclined” to attend the parade.

After the fall out, an announcement came out less than 24 hours that Kid Rock was no longer the Grand Marshall of the parade and that they would be honoring James Shaw Jr. and the survivors from the Waffle House incident.

A statement was released about the switch:

"The 65th Nashville Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 1 will not feature Kid Rock, who had previously volunteered to serve as its Grand Marshal. Parade organizers feel that the grand marshal should personify the spirit of the Nashville community and have invited James Shaw, Jr., who became a community hero after stopping a shooting at a local Waffle House earlier this year, to be honored. The parade is a fun family tradition that also raises money for worthy charitable causes. We appreciate the hundreds of community volunteers who are working hard to make this year's parade another great event."
