HS Student Could Miss Gradutation If He Doesn't Cut His Hair

Deandre Arnold is a Senior at Barbers High School (guess its appropriately named huh) & was told to cut his dreads or risk not graduating!! Now supposedly this "policy" has been in place for over 30 years so it almost makes you wonder why enroll your child in this school if knew this might've been an issue?!

The plot thickens.."His mother, Sandy Arnold, said after Christmas break, three months before graduation, the Barbers Hill Independent School District changed its dress code as it refers to hair. Now the rules stipulate"hair must be clean and well groomed" and not extend on male students, at any time, below the eyebrows, the ear lobes or the top of a T-shirt collar — including when let down." -NBCNEWS.COM

As a result Deandre is not allowed in school & cant attend graduation. The family has 48 to make decision.

Black Hair has been a tpoic of conversation since forever, youd think we wouldve progressed pass this by now but with California creating laws so jobs cant discriminate against a particular hairstyle it seems this country is more REGRESSIVE than PROGRESSIVE
