On Thursday (September 3), the fast food giant announced that its teaming up with Travis Scott for a charitable collaboration featuring his favorite items off the menu. Beginning Tuesday through October 8, customers will be able to get their hands on a meal named after the hip-hop heavyweight. It entails a quarter pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce with a medium order of fries and BBQ sauce. The $6 meal is paired with a Sprite as a beverage. Scott and the big-wig will be exploring opportunities to support charitable organizations during the month-long program.

"I couldn’t be more excited to bring the Cactus Jack x McDonald’s collaboration to life,” the rapper said in a statement. "We are bringing together two iconic worlds. Including a charitable component was key for me, and I can’t wait for people to see what we have in store."

Meanwhile, McDonald's U.S. Chief Marketing Officer Morgan Flatley echoed the sentiments, stating "Everyone has a favorite McDonald’s meal, no matter who you are. Travis is a true McDonald’s fan having grown up visiting our restaurants in Houston, not to mention one of the biggest musical acts and cultural icons in the world. This is the first time in nearly 30 years we’ve introduced a superstar’s name to our menu - we’re excited to bring the Travis Scott Meal to a McDonald's near you starting next week."

This marks the first time since 1992 that a celebrity's name has been featured on McDonald's menu since Michael Jordan. In addition to the meal, Scott has designed customer apparel for the McDonald's crew, with additional releases as part of the partnership to be announced in the coming weeks.
