Verdict Reached In R. Kelly Federal Sexual Abuse Trial

A verdict was reached in the federal trial against R. Kelly on Monday (September 27).

Jurors began deliberations on Friday (September 24) after hearing closing arguments from prosecutors and defense.

The 54-year-old, whose full name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, faces multiple federal charges including running a criminal enterprise for the purpose of recruiting and transporting women and underaged girls for sexual acts.
