Nancy Keil, CEO of Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee

In 2019, Nancy Keil was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, which focuses on ensuring that food insecure children, families and seniors have access to nutritious food for healthy, fulfilling lives.

In her previous role as Chief Development and Marketing Officer at Second Harvest, Keil built high-performing marketing, development and volunteer engagement teams that excelled in achieving Second Harvest objectives. As President and CEO, she provides strategic vision and leadership to encourage fulfilment of the organization’s mission, while overseeing all programs and work activities.

A visionary leader whose innovative strategies position major companies for long-term success, Nancy pioneered development and execution of unique customer experience strategies in non-profit, hospitality and real estate industries. She was instrumental in growing national brands, including Applebee's, O’Charley’s, Stoney River and Café Enterprises.

A leader who makes friends and allies wherever she goes, Nancy is active in Leadership Middle Tennessee, Rotary Club of Nashville, Belmont Executive Learning Network, Tennessee Voluntary Organization Active in Disaster (VOAD), Nashville Chamber’s Leadership Study Mission, National Anti-Hunger Policy, US Global Leadership Coalition Advisory Committee and the Chief Marketing Officer Council.

She enjoys all things outdoors and pushes her physical boundaries, reaching beyond while simply enjoying the journey. Among her favorite memories are skydiving, swimming with sharks, running marathons, multi-day biking trips and local and international hiking. She loves spending time with her perfect dog, Jax, and with family and friends across the United States.

Nancy earned an Executive Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University in Kansas City and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
