Miley Cyrus Apologizes For Dissing Hip Hop Back In 2017

If you remember back in 2017 Miley had a short run In hip hop after crossing over and working with producer Mike Will Made It. Before falling back from the hip hop scene Miley made some comments that left fans angry and confused. In an interview she stated,

"I also love that new Kendrick song ["Humble"]: 'Show me somethin' natural like ass with some stretch marks.' I love that because it's not 'Come sit on my d*ck, suck on my cock.' I can't listen to that anymore," she told Billboard at the time. "That's what pushed me out of the hip-hop scene a little. It was too much 'Lamborghini, got my Rolex, got a girl on my c*ck'—I am so not that."

She made these comments while making a mockery of the culture as she twerked her way across the Billboard charts, using Black women as props for her performances. She's now back making music, she is now saying sorry to the culture which, unfortunately, embraced her.
