Are Jay Z and Drake Trading Lyrical Jabs Under The Radar?

There's a conspiracy theory floating around the world wide interweb that Jay-Z and Drake may have some beef! This is actually a legit theory if you consider the lyrical content of both's recent works. Many believe the beef started with Jay-Z on DJ Khaled's hit "Shining," where Jay raps...

"I know you ain't out here talkin' numbers, right? I know you ain't out here talkin' summers, right? I know you ain't walking around talkin' down, saying boss s*** when you a runner, right?"

Drake new album, which dropped Saturday has a song entitled "Portland," where many believe this lyric is about Jay:

"I could never have a kid, then be out here still kidding around/Boys playing around, where you really wanna take it now?"

On the same song, Drake later rapped:

"Fake f*** with me back then, but it's getting hard for you to fake it now/F*** being rich when I'm forty, man, I'm tryna to make it now."

Whether this is real or not remains to be seen, but I'm sure true Hip Hop fans are chomping at the bit of a Jay and Drake beef! SOURCE
