He still doesn't have a job, but he remains very relevant! This past week, Colin Kaepernick continued to gain support among NFL players. Even the NFL Golden Boy Tom Brady came out and said "I've always watched him and admired him, the way that he's played he was a great young quarterback. He came to our stadium and beat us and took his team to the Super Bowl. He accomplished a lot in the pros as a player. And he's certainly qualified and I hope he gets a shot."
In addition to Brady's support, The NFL Player's Union named Kaep their Community MVP for week 1 of the season "for his commitment to empowering underserved communities through donations and grassroots outreach."
And if Brady and the NFLPA weren't enough, certain anonymous players on the Cincinnati Bengals are allegedly rallying for the team to sign Colin Kaepernick after the team started 0-2. As if wanting to sign another QB wasn't enough, some members of the team actually want Kaep to start in place of current starter, Andy Dalton, who has struggled through two weeks.
Hopefully, Kaep will find a home soon!
