Numbers Show Nike's Deal With Kaep Reflects Customer Base!

TMZ is digging deep into Nike's decision to support Colin Kaepernick and if you think Nike stands to lose boatloads of money, the numbers say otherwise. According to TMZ:

- African American, Hispanics and Asians represent a larger percentage of Nike's customer base than in the U.S. populations

- 13% of of the country identify as African American, yet 18% of Nike consumers are black

- 16% of the country identify as Hispanic, but represent 19% of Nike customers

- 3% of the country identify as Asian, however Asians make up 5% of Nike's consumer base.

- However, people that identify as white make up 75% of the country's population, yet only 67% of Nike's consumer base is white and Nike believes a large portion of that white consumer base supports Kaep.

- 18 to 34-year-olds comprise 30% of the population, but make up 43% of Nike buyers.

- People 65 and older make up 19% of the U.S. population, but represent only 6% of Nike's consumer base

 - Nike customers are 7% less likely to vote Republican and 3% more likely to vote Democrat
