NASHVILLE, Tenn.-Nashville and Memphis are among the Top 25 cities for bed bugs according to research conducted by one pest control company.
Terminix issued the annual 'Terminix Top 25 Bed Bug Cities' list on Thursday as Thanksgiving nears and many will travel outside of their homes.
Bed bugs can be transported in personal belongings after staying in hotels or using public modes of transportation such as airlines or rental cars.
"Once they’ve entered a new space, they can spread quickly to upholstered furniture, in curtain rods and even behind baseboards," the company states.
