Pusha T and No Malice have reunited on a few songs within the past few years including Ye's "Use This Gospel," NIGO's "Punch Bowl" and Push's "I Pray For You" on his 2022 album It's Almost Dry. Earlier this year, the duo debuted their first single from the album "Birds Don't Sing" with John Legend at the Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer Fashion Show in Paris.

"I think the album shows the supreme maturation of a rap duo," Pusha T told Vulture about the upcoming LP. "I think this is where you get the difference between taste and filler. This music is curated. This is a high taste-level piece of work. You can only have that level of taste when you have the fundamentals down to a science. I think it’s been definitely missing. Then there’s the competitive aspect."

Elsewhere in his conversation with Ari Melber, Pusha T also shared his thoughts on Drake and Kendrick Lamar's beef. Push agreed with the general consensus that K-Dot "1,000%" won the war against his old foe Drizzy.

“I think that Kendrick is a lyricist and a lyricist that talks to your soul," he said. "Like, you could be clever, you can say cute things, you can do things and so on and so forth, right? But the truth really hurts and the truth cuts deep. And I think what Kendrick was doing was really talking to his soul. I believe that ... and I believe that’ll cause you to tap out, that’ll cause you to sue, that’ll cause you to do a lot of things. It’s crazy. Listen, suing is crazy … it’s nuts.”
