Former 1st overall pick in the 2001 NBA draft Kwame Brown is facing felony possession charges after being pulled over by Georgia Police. Police found a small amount of marijuana after smelling a strong odor coming from Brown's Mercedes. They then searched the rest of the vehicle and found 3 bags of cannabis cookies, a bag of cannabis-infused tea, and two cans of cannabis-infused mints in a backpack. All of these items are legal online, but illegal in Georgia. Hopefully, these charges will be dropped because it's 2019 and we shouldn't be arresting people for weed anymore.
