Pres Candidate Elizabeth Warren Wants To Eliminate Student Loan Debt

2020 Presidential Candidate Elizabeth Warren wants to wipe out student loan debt! Earlier this morning, Warren unveiled her plan to cancel up to $50,000 of debt to 45 million Americans who combined owe about $1.5 trillion in student loan debt. Warren's plan is called the 2020 Higher Education Plan and would be funded by her proposed Ultra Millionaire Tax, which would tax add on a 2% tax to families that bring in more than $50 million, and an extra 1% tax on those worth $1 billion or more.
