The ad "Dream Crazy" won for "Outstanding Commercial" for 2019.

Controversy has swirled around the former 49ers player, who hasn't played in the NFL since not re-signing with the team, since 2016 as he knelt for the National Anthem, game after game.
The ad features several other high-profile athletes are featured in the commercial.According to CNBC, it's the first time Nike has won en Emmy for a commercial in 17 years.
Recently, Nike alsoreceived backlash after its decision to pull a shoe featuring an early American flag, due to reported concerns by Kaepernick. Now, theCoalition of African-American Pastors (CAAP) is calling on Nike to end its relationship with the former NFL quarterback.
