The House Judiciary Committee voted 24-10 in favor of a bill legalizing marijuana on a federal level and removing it from Schedule 1 of the Controlled Substances Act. The bill has a good chance of passing through the full house when it's voted on, however, many believe the GOP controlled Senate will shoot the bill down and weed will remain illegal on the federal level. This is definitely something to remember when voting in the 2020 elections. If you're for legalization, you may want to vote Democrat, if you're against the legalization of marijuana, vote Republican. SOURCE
