XFL Claims Kaepernick "Too Expensive" For League


You'll see plenty of former NFL players in the newly-relaunched XFL, which debuted over the weekend, however, when it comes to Colin Kaepernick, that may not happen. XFL commissioner Oliver Luck says they reached out and spoke with Kaepernick's agent and that his demands were "exorbitant and certainly out of our range". Last year, there were reports that Kaepernick wanted as much as $20 million to play in the now-defunct AAF and the XFL currently pays quarterbacks around $500K per season.
