Instagram Models Say Business Is Taking a Hit From Coronavirus

Instagram models are feeling the pinch of the Coronavirus as their businesses are coming to a halt. From Abigail Ratchford, who has 9 million followers and gets paid $500,000 a year for endorsements to Desiree Schlotz with 423,000 followers, models are having to get creative due to the restrictions of having to stay at home. With no access to makeup artists, hairdressers and products from China being halted, businesses are also sensitive to the climate and don’t want to promote their productions while the nation is in crisis. Many IG models are without work and losing money, leaving them just as worried as everyone else.
