NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —A hotel steps away from Vanderbilt's Medical Campus is offering first responders and medical workers a free place to stay during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Kimpton Aertson hotel is offering complimentary hotel rooms to medical personnel with proper identification through the end of April. To make a reservation, medical professionals are asked to email the hotel directly at info@aertsonhotel.com.
“We have been so appreciative and thankful for all that our local medical professionals have done for Nashville during these trying times,” said Mark Hayes, general manager of Kimpton Aertson Hotel. “These folks are the true heroes, and it was an easy decision to offer hotel rooms at the Aertson for those who need a place to lay their head after a trying day.”
Close to the hotel, Henley is turning its restaurant into a satellite kitchen to prepare meals distributed through the Nashville Food Project. The project has prepared and shared over 20,000 nutritious meals in communities most affected by these devastating events.
