The Whitney Houston story that we have been waiting for is in the works. Sony and TriStar Pictures have confirmed the title of the Houston biopic as I Wanna Dance With Somebody. The film will be "informed by those who knew her best" meaning Houston's estate will have some say on how Whitney is depicted. The script will come from Anthony McCarten. He was responsible for giving us Freddy Mercury's story in 2018's Bohemian Rhapsody.
