At a White House press conference, Donald Trump was asked if he was assisting Kanye in getting on the ballot. He said he is not pulling strings. Rumor has it that the president was encouraging Republicans to help Kanye get on the ballot in swing states. Trump said he likes Kanye very much and that Kanye has always been very nice to him. He did not seem aware of any mental illness issues with Kanye. He also spoke lovingly of his wife, Kim Kardashian.
