Kim Kardashian Joins Fight to Free C-Murder

There has been a renewed interest in C-Murder's life sentence since BET aired, No Limit Chronicles. Monica posted on her IG story that she was going to get involved-and she meant it. In another Instagram post on Sunday, Monica said with the help of LaLa Anthony, she contacted Kim Kardashian about the case and Kim is now onboard. Kim tweeted that her heart goes out to the family of the 16 year old who was fatally shot, my intention is never to open up this painful wound but to help find the truth behind this tragedy. C-Murder took to Instagram to express his gratitude and post photos of him and his ex, Monica. C-Murder was convicted and sentenced to life in prison at the Louisiana State Penitentiary. He was accused of the January 2002 beating and fatal shooting of 16 year old Steve Thomas at a nightclub. Thomas was said to have used a fake ID to get into the club. An argument allegedly broke out on the dance floor and C-Murder and 5 other of his friends beat up Thomas with C-Murder pulling out a gun and shooting him. However, no gun was ever found and the only witness who claims to have seen C-Murder shoot Thomas has recanted their story.
