f you thought the Titans would cut Stephen Gostkowski after missing 3 field goals and an extra point in the Monday night season opener against Denver, think again!
Head Coach Mike Vrabel said in his press conference:
“For a guy that’s a career 87% field-goal kicker who’s done it as long as he has, I think a lot of those corrections are going to be on him. But it’s also going to be about us in the operation and the ability for us to protect and the ability to make everything around him better and have a lot of faith and confidence in Stephen in moving forward.”
In fairness, Gostkowski came through when it mattered the most, kicking a game winning field goal to put the Titans in the win column 16-14.
