Metro Nashville schools can start playing football games on Sept. 25


NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —Metro Nashville Public Schools can begin playing games next week, Mayor Cooper announced Thursday.

Cooper said schools can begin playing games next Friday on Sept. 25.

Metro Schools resumes contact practices a couple weeks ago.

Dr. Adrienne Battle says after a lot of work and progress against COVID-19. Students can participate in games whether they attend school in person or remote.

Golf is already underway , girls soccer can begin playing games on Sept. 23 and cross country and volleyball are getting ready to start season soon.
