Tory Lanez Denies Shooting Meg Thee Stallion On New Album “Daystar”

BMI's How I Wrote That Song 2018

Tory Lanez has remained silent months after allegations that he shot Megan Thee Stallion in both feet following an argument in Los Angeles. Lanez took to Twitter on Thursday apologizing to fans for not updating them and said he had time to discuss what led to Megan being shot. The Canadian rapper released “Daystar,” on Thursday night, within the music he denied accusations and said he was “being framed” by “Megan’s people.” “Megan people trying to frame me for a shooting / But them boys ain’t clean enough,” he raps. “I see how they teaming up, watching and I’m calculating / Gotta keep it quiet, I can’t jeopardize the outcome waiting,” Tory raps on “Money Over Fallouts.” “How the f**k you get shot in your foot, don’t hit no bones or tendons,” he says elsewhere within the track. On “Friends Become Strangers” he talks directly to Megan saying, “We both know what happened that night and what I did.”
