Two more Titans players tests positive for COVID-19: Report

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —Two more Titans players have tested positive for coronavirus, ESPN reporter Dianna Russini tweeted Wednesday morning.

Russini writes that this could mean the planned game against the Titans and Bills on Sunday could be in jeopardy.

A player on the #Titans has tested positive for COVID-19 per source. This puts Sunday’s game between the Bills and Titans in jeopardy. Titans were expected to return to their facility today, that can’t happen now.

The Titans went two days in a row without any positive tests this week, which gave hope they would return to the facilities as early as Wednesday.

The league has been investigating whether the Titans broke protocol, leading to the outbreak of 20 positive cases within the organization in the last week.

So far, there has been no release from the NFL as to whether that was the case or whether the team will be punished.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
