Bobby Shmurda might be released from prison on February 23, 2021 if he can maintain good behavior. His original release date was December 11, 2021. The rapper went to prison in September 2016 as a part of a plea deal. He was charged with conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon and was sentenced to a max of 7 years. Shmurda was denied parole in September because of several violations including fighting and drug possession.
