WEtv Celebrates The Premieres Of Growing Up Hip Hop New York And Untold Stories Of Hip Hop

Ja Rule has finally closed a chapter of his life that he has been trying to shed for quite some time now. The rapper commissioned the painting for $2,000 by Tripp Derrick Barnes. The Frye Festival logo sold for $122,000 as NFT or non-fungible tokens. The painting hung in the Fyre Festival headquarters but was relocated after the offices closed following the arrest of Frye Festival creator and promoter Billy McFarland. Ja Rule was cleared from any wrongdoing in the class-action lawsuit against the festival and told Forbes, “I just wanted that energy out.” The person who won the bid for the painting will receive a note from Rule that says, “F__k this painting,” along with an autograph available upon request. Ja Rule has found success in the Cryptocurrency world and was recently named one of the top five people making waves in the industry according to BeInCrypto.
