Rihanna dropped a legal suit against her father. The two were set to meet in court on September 22nd. She accused her father of misusing her name for his own gain. He once tried to book her for a tour overseas without her permission. It is speculated that Rihanna reached an out of court settlement with her father and his business partners, which is surprising considering Rihanna is a literal billionaire and her father is nowhere near. This lawsuit was probably more about principal and boundaries way more than it was about money. Hopefully, Rihanna's point was made and her father will cease all shady activity.
