A thirty-year Estée Lauder senior executive was fired after posting a racist meme involving rapper Chingy. The rapper’s name was trending on social media after word of the firing was announced. John Demsey posted a meme where Big Bird is standing at the bedside of Snuffalupagous with a mask on. The book is patterned after the “Little Golden Book” series and features the Sesame Street logo. “My n___a Snuffy done got the ‘rona at a Chingy concert.” Dempsey was making $10 million a year, he said he “didn’t read the meme,” prior to posting it. Chingy released a one-minute video after his name began trending saying, he wasn’t offended by the meme.
