They say "a picture is worth a thousand words," but in the case of Nas, a picture is worth a new lawsuit. The legendary Queens rapper is being hit with a lawsuit after he shared a photo of him and Tupac from 1993 on Instagram. Photographer Al Periera claims Nas shared the image on his social media but didn't get permission from Periera not licensed his work. According to court documents, Nas shared the photo three years after Periera obtained copyright of the black and white photo. Periera is seeking damages and an injunction against Nas for using his work on social media. If Periera's name sounds familiar, he also filed a complaint against Kendall and Kylie Jenner over photos he took over Biggie and Tupac that the sisters tried to use on a line of t-shirts.
