Chris Rock did his first comedy show in Boston since he was infamously slapped by Will Smith. A heckler shouting “Will Smith,” was escorted from Boston’s Wilbur Theatre on Wednesday (30 March). Rock responded to the outburst by saying, “Is this the way the tour is going to go?” Later during the show, Rock said he was “still processing” what happened on Sunday evening during his Oscar appearance. There is a report that two hecklers shouted Will Smith’s name during Rock’s live show, the crowd boo’d both individuals. Rock said “despite what you’ve heard,” he hadn’t spoken to Smith. “I’m still processing what happened, so at some point I’ll talk about that s***,” he said. “It’ll be serious. It’ll be funny, but right now I’m going to tell some jokes,” said Rock.
