The former owner of The Source turned himself in after an argument with ex-girlfriend Althea Heart and her partner. Benzino released an exclusive jailhouse photo to AllHipHop.com. A Fan captured Zino in the video flexing behind prison walls. His arrest went viral but Benzino said the video is from an old confrontation he was charged for. “Long story short, the case was like two years ago, and somebody put that old video up, and it got me kind of arguing with him,” said Benzino. After missing a virtual court hearing in April while sick with Covid, authorities filed an arrest warrant. His romance with Althea Heart was detailed in season 3 of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Benzino proposed to Heart (2014) and they had a son but broke up.
