Halle Bailey plays Ariel in The Little Mermaid. The trailer dropped last week and while it was positively received, the racist and hate remarks about the trailer have been very high. Halle took to Twitter to thank everyone who sent her videos of little girls being in awe of her role. She tweeted, this means the world to me. One person tweeted Halle and said, an entire generation of brown and black girls will grow up with you as Ariel. Your impact in their lives will be immeasurable.
