Silk Sonic will not submit their album, An Evening With Silk Sonic for Grammy consideration. The duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak won four Grammys last year all for their song, Leave The Door Open. They won in the categories of: Record of The Year Song of The Year Best R&B Performance Best R&B Song In a statement Bruno said, we truly put our all on this record but Silk Sonic would like to gracefully, humbly and most importantly, sexually, bow out of submitting our album this year. Critics assumed Silk Sonic's album would be nominated for Album of The Year along with Adele, Taylor Swift and Beyonce. This is just speculation as nominations are not. It would have made for a very competitive category. A Night With Silk Sonic was released in 2021 but not in time for the 2021 Grammy nominations.
